The City of Brea is an example of how CSI serves a much-needed role in resource sharing among cities. Many cities are required to make difficult staffing decisions in the face of budget restraints or cutbacks. Brea had lost an Intern position and was facing the prospect of losing a talented member of their staff.

In an effort to take care of her, Brea contacted CSI to determine if the planner could be placed with us. We recognized the potential of this outstanding professional, and immediately hired and assigned her to work with one of our other city clients.

A year later, Brea had full-time planning position open up. Working with CSI,
they were able to rehire their former intern as a permanent employee.

It was a win-win for all involved. CSI was pleased to have served its client’s best interests in this unique way.
